ABOUT
Our Philosophy
Children engage their learning through connection with their environment and loose parts utilising the theories of Reggio Emilia. Our outdoor areas will be accessed around the year regardless of weather. Further children will be allowed to engage in risky play, families will be informed of this on enrolment. Risky play is essential to children’s ability to develop and grow and learn limits, try challenges and become resilient. Avenue Early Learning believes that children are confident, capable and unique leaders. It is the children that will direct their learning. Children will be encouraged to partake in all aspects of their routine including where possible preparation of meals, setting up of rooms, meal times and creating the program.
